# Staff cover report

C**urriculum \> Timetable Setup \> Cover \> Cover report** – the page will display all types of cover staff, their total absences and the amount of cover they have been allocated.  The date range picker enables the view to filter across specific date ranges to see the total periods of cover applied.

- Total periods covered - the total number of periods covered during the date range.
- Cover provided / periods - the amount of times that a staff member provides cover for a period within the date range
- Absence / periods - how many periods the staff member is absent for. This is only applicable when they are a teacher and are absent as it calculates how many periods they are meant to be teaching during their absent time.
- Covered / periods - how many periods have been covered for the teacher due to absence
- Covered / % - the percentage of their covered periods compared to the total number of periods covered in this date range.

A cover report can be downloaded as a CSV or printed.
