# Viewing MIS Messages

Go to **People \> Communications \> View messages** to see sent messages.

Messages can be filtered by area type i.e. School, attendance, these will display next to the filter, and by a date range using the date picker:

The page shows all messages and the status of messages by each channel. A single tick indicating ‘processing’ and double ticks showing ‘send complete’, by hovering over the ticks the status of the message is displayed in a tool tip.

Messages can be selected and downloaded via the Selected items menu, the download will contain the status of all channels for Processing, Sent and Failed:

Selecting the message title allows the user to view the message for each channel type and recipients.  If recipients are selected from this page a follow up message can be sent.
