# Dashboards
The school/governor/trust dashboards provides an overview of your school's data by key performance indicators. A version of this can also be displayed to school governors and your school's trust if you wish. The school dashboard is accessed via the **Pathfinder** menu:
The dashboards offer headline data for the school, along with charts which provide a visual representation of the data. The charts on the right of the page track the data over time, by plotting new points with each snapshot of report data which is set to be used for the dashboard. Users are able to filter the data they see to an extent, but will not be able to alter the source data in any way, nor affect what other users see.
### Dashboard grades and grade mapping
School managers have the ability to control the data used to populate the dashboards via the **Curriculum** menu:
The top section allows you to define the names for the grades used for the dashboard. For the school and governor site it is unlikely that you would want to change grade names. For the trust site however, you may be asked to use certain names so that your data can be easily compared with that of other schools in the trust, who may all use different internal names.
The next section allows you to map your chosen grade types to the **Target**, **Progress**, and **Actual** grades. These will display on the dashboard with the names entered in the dashboard grades above. The **Synchronise** button will pull through your school grade settings. The grades used here will need to be enabled on your school grade settings page. If they're not, they'll display in red. To add a year group specific grade mapping click on the option to **Add a specific rule for a year group**. An example of where this may be used is if your year 11 have taken mock exams and their grades have been uploaded to the **Honest** grade type. You may then want to use the **Honest** grade to track year 11 progress, but not change the grade used in other years.
Data visibility needs to be set for each individual year group. Click into each table cell to see the options available. Reports will need to be snapshot/prepared for publication before they are available to show.
On the governor dashboard settings page, you also have the option to enable the governor view - this will take effect immediately, allowing you to enable/disable governor access as needed.
### Trust site access
Before you can set up the trust site, you will need to raise a support ticket asking for it to be enabled. Our customer service team will liaise with all schools in the trust to seek written permission for data to be shared to the Trust site. This is a temporary process while development of the trust site management pages is ongoing. Once this is set up, you will have a link to manage the trust dashboard settings.
