# GO 4 Schools system column sets
To support schools in quickly and efficiently reviewing the data for a year group we have created system sets of data within the data explorer. These GO 4 Schools system sets have an overview of student contextual data, counts above/on/below target, entries as well as the overall residual for individual students. This article outlines the methodology used in the pre-set data columns.
#### **Accessing the system sets**
Using the **Pathfinder** menu, access any year group, and then select **Year group explorer**.
Once the explorer has opened, clicking on the **Load/save a set of columns** will give you access to the sets:
The **GO 4 Schools system** set is a summary overview of key data for the year group, while the **GO 4 Schools system inc all subjects** set includes the key data plus all subjects showing the main progress and target grades, along with the residual label/value for each. The top columns give the average and total points.
#### **GO 4 Schools system set - Key Stage 4**
This set includes your key data for your students:
- **Student identification data** - Last name, first name, UPN, registration group.
- **Student contextual data** - Sex, PPI, Disadvantaged, SEN Code - these attributes must belong to an **[attribute set](https://support.go4schools.com/en/support/solutions/articles/80001045235).**
- **Prior attainment** - Prior attainment band (HPA, MPA, LPA), KS2 scaled score average, KS2 English reading scaled score, KS2 maths scaled score. The scaled scores are based on the values uploaded to actual grades, and the banding is calculated by GO 4 Schools following the DfE methodology - see **[this article](https://support.go4schools.com/en/support/solutions/articles/80001028887)** for more information.
- **Behaviour** - if available via your MIS or GO 4 Schools, overall positive and negative scores, as well as the net behaviour score.
- **Attendance** - Percentage attendance, Attendance band (%).
- **Attainment data**:
- **Number of GCSE entries, both including and excluding equivalents** - This is based on the count of formal qualifications, and will match the count of subjects listed on the student detailed breakdown:
- **Residual data** - The calculated average residual based on the main progress and target grade, Number of grades above/on/below target (based on whole grades), number of missing progress grades, number of missing target grades.
- **Missing grades** - This is a count of missing grades, where grades are missing for either target or progress, the subject cannot be included in the overall residual calculation or target counts.
- **Threshold values** - Shows a count of main progress grades above thresholds both including and excluding equivalencies. The threshold values set are grades 7, 5, 4, and 1.
- **Core subject data** - The progress grade, target grade, and residual band/value for English language, English literature, and maths.
#### **GO 4 Schools system set including subject data - Key Stage 4**
This system data set contains all of the fields listed above, as well as additional data for all subjects displaying the default progress and target grades, as well as the residual label, colour, and value:
#### **GO 4 Schools system set - Key Stage 5**
This set includes your key data for your students:
- **Student identification data** - Last name, first name, UPN, registration group.
- **Student contextual data** - Sex, PPI, Disadvantaged, SEN Code - these attributes must belong to an **[attribute set](https://support.go4schools.com/en/support/solutions/articles/80001045235).**
- **Prior attainment** - KS4 prior attainment (A Level), KS4 prior attainment (Academic), KS4 prior attainment (Applied General) - these values are loaded from the special attributes used to generate L3VA values - see **[this article](https://support.go4schools.com/en/support/solutions/articles/80000953792)** for more information.
- **Behaviour** - if available via your MIS or GO 4 Schools, overall positive and negative scores, as well as the net behaviour score.
- **Attendance** - Percentage attendance, Attendance band (%).
- **Attainment data**:
- **Number of APS total entries** - Progress and target grade entries counts based on the size of student qualifications.
- **Total APS** - Total point score for both main progress and target grades.
- **Residual data** - The calculated average residual based on the main progress and target grade, Number of grades above/on/below target, number of missing progress grades, number of missing target grades.
#### **GO 4 Schools system set including subject data - Key Stage 5**
As with Key Stage 4, this set also includes the main progress and target grade, as well as the residual value/label/colour for all subjects.
#### **GO 4 Schools system set - Key Stage 3/Internal grading schemes**
Data for year groups using internal grading schemes will contain all of the data as for Key Stage 4, but will not populate columns that link directly to overall GCSE (or equiv) data, for example Number of entries, Grade thresholds, etc.
