# Managing report assets

Report assets are electronic files that can be incorporated into reports by modifying report templates. Assets can be useful for things like:

- Incorporating a school logo into the PDF version of a report
- Incorporating a hyperlink to a PDF file containing information about the school's policy on reporting.

There is no need to create assets unless you plan to incorporate them into report templates. We do ask schools to send us a good-quality logo that we can use on the cover page of the printed report template. This is part of the setup process, and therefore there is no charge for it.
