# Using the grading scheme editor with no scaling

**No scaling** is unlikely to be the correct choice for your marksheet grading scheme, unless the marksheet does not contribute to the overall markbook grade. If your marksheet is contributing to the current grade, when using the **No scaling** option it is not the grade/level that contributes to the overall markbook grade, but the values in the percentage column. You have the ability to add/remove any of the grades available at marksheet level when using the no scaling option.
