If I raise a behaviour event on the behalf of another member of staff, can the event be removed from my list?

No, if you are the creator the event will always appear on your active list. However, you will be able to identify this as the event will be marked with a  C for creator. If you have selected to notify the other member of staff, the event will appear on their active list until the event is closed.
