Overview of documents in GO 4 schools

GO 4 Schools allows you to supplement your student data with documents uploaded to the system. Each document is linked to a specific student by type, and can be given a description. We suggest you consider the types of documents uploaded to GO 4 Schools that support teaching staff to plan for students learning. These can be things like behaviour support plans, pupil learning passports, EHCP for SEND students, etc. You may need to consider that more sensitive documents, i.e. safeguarding, should not be uploaded if they contain sensitive information. Visibility of each document can by controlled so that it is visible to staff only, or also shared with students/parents. The current functionality is provided for free, but comes with various limitations described below.

Viruses

All uploaded documents are scanned for viruses, but we make no guarantee that documents are free of viruses. We accept no liability for damage or lass caused by the distribution of documents containing viruses. Users should ensure they have adequate antivirus protection in place before downloading documents.

Data backup

Uploaded documents are securely backed up every night.

Current limitations

• Each upload must be less than 9.8MB in size.
• Only documents of type .doc and .docx, .txt, .pdf, .xls and .xlsx are supported.
• Each uploaded document can be linked to just one student.
• URLs can be used instead of actual documents
• Multiple documents cannot be uploaded in batch format to students/groups.
