Status and health check page

If, on a daily basis, you just want a quick overview of the “health” of the system, you should visit the “Status and health check” page which can be accessed from the manage menu:

This page provides an overview of key settings, and should help you to identify tasks that you could perform to get the best out of GO 4 Schools. Among other things it will show you:

  • How long it is since we last received a feed from you.
  • How many sets of KS2 grades are missing. (Without these GO 4 Schools can’t measure progress from KS2.)
  • Whether there are unusual patterns in the selections of qualifications by curriculum leaders that may indicate mistakes.

The page also provides links to allow you to change settings or to investigate potential problems further.

Feed system

The top of the page provides you with information as to what feed tool your school is using, as well as the status of your feeds.

If the "Days since feed received" is showing more than "0", it means we are not receiving your feeds, and need to investigate the cause. The other two columns allow you to see whether we have seen a change in your data - we don't process feeds that do not contain a change in data.

School statistics

This allows you to quickly review your overall subjects/grading schemes, and highlights where you potentially have multiple subjects using the same QAN code (this is most important in your GCSE/A-Level years)

Calendar and timetable

This section checks the overall status of your school calendar and lets you know which week is current.

Students and Parents

This lets you quickly see how many students are missing access, as well as a quick glance at how many parents are lacking email addresses. Any students included in the final row have no parents with email addresses, and thus their parents will not have access to the site.

File storage and allowance

This section shows you how you're using your file storage, and how much space you have remaining
